The 17th World Horseback Archery Championship willtake place, bringing together more than 120 top archers from over 30 countries, including 15 elite archers from Mongolia, along with internationally certified judges, and leaders from UNESCO and the World Horseback Archery Federation.

Stay in cozy ger camps, explore sacred sites like Aryabal meditation temple and connect with the nomadic way of life by visiting authentic Nomadic family’s homer.  You’ll even spot rare wild horses at Hustai National Park.

Tour Plan

Day 1 (August 20): Arrival and Welcome to Ulaanbaatar

Upon your arrival at the airport, our friendly Driver & Guide will be there to greet you. You will be welcomed with a traditional Mongolian lunch at a Ulaanbaar city. In the afternoon, you will visit the Chinggis Khaan Museum where you can explore the life and legacy of Mongolia’s greatest leader. Afterward, you will take a walk around Sukhbaatar Square, the central square of the capital city. The evening is free for you to relax or explore the city on your own. You will stay overnight in Ulaanbaatar.

Day 2 (August 21) : Chinggis Khan Equestrian Complex and Terelj National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from Ulaanbaatar and travel to the Chinggis Khan Equestrian Complex, home to the world’s tallest horse statue. From there, you will continue to the Terelj National Park,  nestled near Ulaanbaatar, captivates with its vast, pristine landscapes marked by rolling hills, dense forests, and meandering rivers. Explore the spiritual Aryabal meditation temple, where tranquility and nature converge. 

Engage in a lively afternoon of archery and traditional Mongolian games at the ger camp for having fun time . As the day concludes, unwind with a delicious dinner, the crackling bonfire casting a warm glow over the Ger camp.

Accommodation: En-suite ger Camp (If a guest prefers to stay in a private ger, a single supplement fee applies. It is same for all camps)

Day 3 (August 22): World Horseback Archery Championship and Nomads World festiva;

After breakfast, we will drive to the Nomads World Festival where cultures from across the world come together to celebrate nomadic heritage. International food options are available at the festival, and you can enjoy lunch & dinner on your own.

After that, attend the World Horseback Archery Championship:  The 17th World Horseback Archery Championship will take place, bringing together more than 120 top archers from over 30 countries, including 15 elite archers from Mongolia, along with internationally certified judges, and leaders from UNESCO and the World Horseback Archery Federation.

In the evening, we will drive back to your ger camp at Terelj National Park

Day 4 (August 23): Festival Experience and Championship 2nd day

This day is the final day of the Horseback Archery Championship. Exciting moment to see the winner.  After that immerse yourself in the Nomads cultural heritages, feel the welcoming Mongolian people atmosphere. Meet with people from other Nomadic countries and experience their culture and music performances.

You will have the chance to ride horses or Bactrian camels during the festival if you wish.

Day 5 (August 24): Last day of World Nomads Festival

The festival will feature 780 programs and activities related to intangible cultural heritage, as well as competitions in 10 types of national sports. Visitors to the festival will have the opportunity to explore the rich traditions of intangible cultural heritage, actively participate, and gain knowledge and skills. This day is the time to experience each culture and heritage. 

Choose your own lunch and dinner at the festival where they offer international food ( including halal food)

 In the night there will be a big farewell concert at the venue. If you want to watch it you can stay until the concert finishes. Make your unforgettable and fun memories there.

Day 6 (August 25): Nomadic Family visit and Hustai National Park

After breakfast, the journey continues to Hustai National Park, where you will have the chance to see the rare and endangered Przewalski’s horses in the wild. After that, delve into the heart of Mongolian nomadic culture by visiting authentic Nomadic family’s home. Participate in their daily routines, gaining unforgettable experience of their lifestyle. Have lunch with them.

In the evening, we will watch Mongolian National Art concert “Land of the Sky” (folklore music,dance and throat singing performances) in Ulaanbaatar city. Have a farewell dinner with your guide and driver. Your final night will be spent at a hotel in Ulaanbaatar.

Day 7 (August 26) Departure Day

Day 7 – August 26: Departure Day

Early in the morning, you will be transferred to Chinggis Khaan International Airport for your departure. We hope your journey in Mongolia leaves you with lasting memories and a deeper appreciation for nomadic culture.
